Email Campaign Reports: Viewing Email Campaign Reports

Our system includes powerful reports that provide detailed analytics for your email campaigns.


To view reports for email campaigns,

  • Click on the Reports Option from the Campaigns Menu. This will open the Reports & Statistics Window.
  • The Reports & Statistics Window contains a list of all email campaigns that have been successfully completed. You can sort the table by clicking on any of the column headings.
  • By clicking on Export campaign reports link you can export email campaign reports in batch. The PDF file will be exported with overall information for each campaign for the previously set time interval.
  • For each report, you can carry out three actions that are available when you roll your mouse over a report name:
  • Preview the email—select the Preview Icon to open a pop-window displaying the email that was sent during the campaign
  • View report—click the View Icon to open the Email Campaign Statistics Window.
  • Export report—click the Export Icon to download a Microsoft Excel version of the campaign statistics

Batch report export is also available. Click on "Export campaign reports" link. 

You can also select a date range by which to filter the report by clicking  on  the respect Date Range Fields and selecting a start and end date from the pop-up calendar.

Use the sorting option available and choose to export the file in PDF or XLS format.

View Reports

The Email Campaign Statistics Window is divided into 6 tabs:

  • Email Opens 
  • Email Links 
  • Bounced emails
  • Unsubscribed

Finally, you can export the report into a PDF or Microsoft Excel XLS file by clicking on the appropriate link.

Email Opens

You can  choose a Chart timeline to view statistic data for 7 or 15 days, or statistic of all days.

The Open Statistics provides detailed information on the open rate and those subscribers that actually opened the email:

  • Total Opens—the total number of emails that were opened
  • Total Unique Opens—This is the count of every first open of an email.
  • Open Rate—the rate of opening. This is calculated by dividing the unique number of opens with emails sent.
  • Confirmed Open Rate—The open rate divided by the total number of delivered emails (bounced emails are not included).
  • Email Render Rate—The total open rate divided by the total emails delivered (bounced emails are not included).
  • Average Recipient Render Rate—The total open rate divided by the total emails sent averaged for all recipients.
  • Most Opens—the date and time during which most emails were opened

There are multiple graphs displayed on the Open Statistics tab:

Finally, at the bottom of the tab, you can find a table with a complete list of all subscribers, their IP addresses, and the date and time at which they opened the email.

You can see the emails that have opened your email campaign more than one time. By clicking on "+" you will be able to see each time when email was opened.

Use sorting option to see all emails that have opened your campaign more than one time.

Email Clicks

The Click Reports tab displays information about clicks on links contained in the email:

Note: This is only applicable if you didn't uncheck the box to “track HTML links” when creating your email campaign.
  • Total Clicks—the total number of links clicked by all recipients
  • Total unique clicks—the number of unique clicks. For example, there are two links in a campaign, a subscriber can click on both links and another subscriber click just one link, those would count as 3 unique clicks. 
  • Unique Clicks—This is the number of unique clicks divided by the total emails delivered.
  • Click to open rate—the total number of clicks divided by the number of opens.
  • Click-through rate—This is the unique number of subscribers that have clicked on links divided by the emails sent
  • Unique subscribers who clicked —  the unique number os subscribers that clicked on the link in your email campaign

The graph on the right shows the number of links clicked by month.

The Top 5

You can also view the Top 5 Clicked Links of the email campaign and view Total Clicks and Unique Clicks. On the right you can see Top 5 Clicks by Email Domains, there will be listed domains that have clicked on the links the most.

Bounced Emails

Five different types of bounces against your email campaign:

  • Hard—these are non-existent emails (i.e., wrong domain, wrong email address, email is blocked, email is inactive)
  • Blocked —these are blocked attempts to send. The blocking happens for a variety of reasons including the content of the email, sender name or email address, server IP or domain blacklisting, inappropriate links, etc.
  • Soft —these are undeliverable emails for a variety of reasons including content rejection, email box is full, email is too big, warning message, email is deferred, server is not available, etc.
  • Temporary—these are delayed emails because of some error at the receiving server. Often times, these emails turn into soft bounce of blocked. In a certain period of time, our system will attempt to re-deliver these emails.
  • Generic—all other bounced emails that do not fit into one of the above categories.

The data in the Bounce Statistics tab includes:

  • Total Bounces—the total number of all bounce types
  • Total Blocked Bounces—total number of blocked bounces
  • Total Soft Bounces—total number of soft bounces
  • Total Hard Bounces—total number of hard bounces
  • Total Temporary Bounces—total number of temporary bounces
  • Total Generic Bounces—total number of generic bounces
  • Abuse Complaints—any complaints that were lodged against you by subscribers.
  • Accepted—the total number of email delivered without bouncing
  • Accepted rate—the percentage of total emails delivered without bounces

The graph on the right displays the different bounce types that were logged during the campaign's delivery window.

The table at the bottom displays the specific subscribers, their bounce type, and the day/time of the bounce.


The Unsubscribe Statistics tab captures information about subscribers that have opted to unsubscribe from the list during the campaign:

  • Total unsubscribes—the total number of unsubscribes that occurred during the campaign
  • Most unsubscribes—date of the most unsubscribes

The graph on the right displays the total number of unsubscribes by month.
